Is this a case of medical malpractice?

I had an x-ray taken and the radiologist diagnosed me with a type of bone cancer. My local physician then referred me to a doctor who specializes in this type of cancer. The first day I met him I was told I needed a total knee replacement and chemotherapy. I was immediately referred to a cancer doctor to start getting my chemo. Not long after that, a few weeks maybe, I got a biopsy done and was told my cancer was in the intermediate stage, that it didn’t look good. My chemo then started with me getting 4-5 different kinds, which had lots of side effects, including hair loss & making me sterile among others. Not long after that I had my sugery. The doctor then saw me and I was told my cancer wasn’t as bad as he thought that it was in a mild stage. Once my cancer doctor found this out I was told that I didn’t need chemo since it was in the mild stage that all I would have needed was just surgery. As a result I can’t have any kids and I just turned 29. Can someone help me!?!
